She was simply bored and exploring for the early evening. her brown eyes were scanning the area around her. She had not been in town long almost a week and she was by far not used to it. She thankfully had an apartment on her own that accept animals and she was slowly getting to know the area and just what was looming about. She still had no job yet but she had put her application in at a few place and was hoping to be a bartender at the grill. It would be fun for her and not to mention good money she was sure she could get tips quite easily. But alas she would have to save on spending to much for now till she had a substantial job.
Kelly found her black flats pointing to some odd ruins. A curious look crossed her face she was simply curious what she had stumbled upon. Her black skinny jean that clothed her legs thankfully were not covered in leaves but she had the odd feeling she just might get a little dirt today. she thankfully wore a loose grey tank top that hung quite flattering on her but she was fine with it getting dirty it was a shirt she has had for awhile. She found herself standing in front of what she could only assume was a tomb and the door pushed off to the side it was not hard for her to immediately recognize the sign on it. She knew her magic well enough. But she still moved towards the entrance of the door a bit looking around she was more then curious.
She could feel there had been some powerful magic here before but it had faded she wondered what was suppose to be in here. Something certainly was not right and she wanted to know what.

blockquote]
The past year meant a lot to Jace. He roamed this earth for one soul purpose, and that was to find Cassie‘s killer. At whatever cost. Going on without her has gotten easier, but the pain still dwell and bubbles in his heart and sometimes he would go out to the thread and just let it all loose, smashing and punching things to the point where his knuckles were raw and grinded. He vowed to go out every night in search of Cassie‘s Murderer. That is why they had moved to Mystic Falls. Supernatural activity was high here and it was a perfect hunting ground for him to get answers, and maybe the killer themselves. He clutched his fists and walked through the forest, his senses open and looking for any signs of vampires. Werewolves are not a worry since the full moon wasn‘t even close. He had a gun loaded with mini stakes that shoot as fast as you could imagine, an overly large stake that Jace carved himself, Vervain filled blood and bullets that exploded with vervain on impact and other awesome tools to get the job done. He felt a presence here in the woods, old ruins started to come into view and he hesitated before pursuing any further.
Ever since he had been introduced into the supernatural world, He had special senses that knew when a supernatural being was around. He just thinks it’s instinct, but his father thinks it is a sign that Jace will be something great. That he will be one of the best hunters of their time. He highly doubted it. He wasn’t nothing special, he was just driven by wild rage to find his beloved’s killer. Sure it happened a year and a half ago but Jace holds grudges for as long as he is alive. He is still highly pissed at Todd for stealing his Incredible Hulk lunch box in the 3rd grade.
Jason moved closer to the ruins, his fingertips slid by the hidden stake in his belt, gripping loosely around the hilt of it. His black boots crunched on the fallen, dead leaves as a light, chilling breeze swept over the area. He was tense, yes. Only because he hasn’t taken on a vampire since moving to Virginia. His long blonde hair swept in face and piled on his head in a tangled mess. When he approached the ruins he found no one. After exploring further into it out of sheer curiosity the strange feeling came to him again and in his view, he saw a stairs heading down to a dark cave. His eyes darkened to a deep green as he stepped into the shadows. Walking down the stairs slowing, his grip on the hilt became tighter, And when he got the bottom of the stairs the feeling was overwhelming and it wasn’t Vampire. It was something different, something dark but. . . . Something he couldn’t really describe. In the center of the cave was a girl. Stading there looking at the entrace to what seemed like a tunnel. She wasn’t a vampire. She was something different. Not a werewolf. Um, Hello? May I ask why a girl like you is down in such a place? He asked politely, waiting for her to turn around so he could see her face.

She still moved beyond the entrance and into the tomb just a bit before she closed her eyes and opened up her senses. She was just imply curious and maybe a simple spell would help her safely figure out what was up with this place. But just as she was about to utter some Latin she stopped herself as a voice reached her ears her head whipped around to see the intruder. Her dark raven black hair fell around her face as her dark eyes took in the guy before her quickly assessing whether he was a threat. Then she remember she was just in the forrest exploring and probably was not alone he was definitely not a vampire or werewolf so she relaxed for now. A smile finally appeared on her face as she sighed.
"Sorry you scared me." her eyes narrowed at his comment her hands resting on her hips. "What do you mean a girl like me?" she asked tilting her head to the side. She was not to sure of that comment. Yes she was a cute little fashionable girl or at least she thoughts so but she was not trampling about in the woods in heels at least. "I can handle myself just fine. " she said with a small smile as she moved forward from the cave to get a better look at the guy and she had to admit he was cute. But there was something to this guy something not just right. She could not place it he was not a fellow witch or was he her intuition said there was something different but she just was not sure what. She would just have to figure it out.
"What bring a guy like you out here? The chance to frolic through the tree or the need to explore or is it to find your next damsel in distress." she said being cute and sarcastic. "So do you have a name Mr. Mysterious Stranger?" she asked with a smile her eyes remaining on him but she was still conscious of the cave behind her. She was more then bent on checking it out.

It was no lie when his family said that The south would be way more different than the sunny skies of California. Jace couldn't stand the humidity. At least in California it was dry heat, but here, he could fill up buckets of sweat. But the winter was rapidly apporaching and it was starting to cool off. Jace's family had moved to Virginia in the summer time, hoping to get to know the town so they could fit in. Jace didn't know what to do when he saw the girl standing before him. He swore he had heard her chant something. He's heard of witchcraft, and it has been rumored that witches are indeed real, but Jace had never met one face to face so he has not been convinced yet. He listened to the girl carefully and chuckled at what she had to say.
Sorry you scared me.What do you mean a girl like me? I can handle myself just fine.
Yeah sure, when your down in a cave staring at a symbol that is far from good. he eyed her carefully while leaning on a pillar beside him and crossing his arms across his chest. Whatever was back there got out or is still there, and if someone labeled this cave as evil then it is definately a danger to a girl none the less. He raised his eyebrows. He knew her type to well, Cassie was among them. They were stubborn and they didn't take offense to thier gender very well. But that's one thing Jace liked about a girl.
What bring a guy like you out here? The chance to frolic through the tree or the need to explore or is it to find your next damsel in distress. So do you have a name Mr. Mysterious Stranger?
His eyes darkened a bit as she asked why he was out here. Honestly? trying to find Cassie's murderer. he didn't know if the vampire was here, but it was a start. I am out here because i am on a hunting expedition. he smiled, charmingly. I sure do, the name's Jace. What about you, miss? he smirked and fiddled with a rock between his fingertips. His eyes kept lifting up to the seal on the door. That was satan's symbol. It was indeed pure evil. The atmosphere made him feel almost depressed, and a mixture of fear. But Jace Blackwood will never fear a vampire, or werewolf. The hole behind the door was dark and hauting, who knew what was back there, waiting for pulsing veins to fall under it's trap? well, it wasn't going to be him, and hopefully, whatever this girl was, she wouldn't either.

She was still getting used to this town and was not about to declare she was a witch. Vampires, tended to want witches working for them and liked to find ways to trick them into debt to them. but Kelly was not one to like being tricked or making a deal with anyone. She knew how it all worked and was careful only to work with vampires she knew that she could handle. After all she needed a thing or two from one of them on occasion. After all a girls got to do what she has to do to survive.
Kelly smiled slightly at his reply. Cute. she thought to herself. "Whatever was in there is long gone and whether it dangerous or not I can handle myself just fine even if I am just a girl." she retorted simply teasing him in a way. Kelly glanced back at the symbol on the door. "Besides it could have been some kids trying to be cute with vandalism." she offered. But Kelly knew that symbol and she knew it was anything but that. She was not about to let some stranger know that. As far as he knew she was just a normal girl letting her curiosity get the best of her. Also maybe she was being more then stubborn but hey it was who she was.
"Do you think a guy like you could handle a big scary cave better then me?" she inquired an eyebrow of hers raising at him. She was actually enjoying the banter between him and her. Her eyes narrowed at his words. "Hunting expedition? Here?" she asked. "What are you hunting out here?" she asked. There certainly was more to this guy then met the eye that was for sure. "Well Jace isn't it a pleasure to meet you, My name is Kelly." she offered. "So I'm going to be honest here I am curious as hell as to what happened here. But I get the feeling you think little ole me she stay away. Correct me if I'm wrong." she said with a small smirk her bluntness was reining free. "I'm just want to know what options I have if I plan to proceed with my exploring. You see I'm new to the town and I'm like to know what goes on when I move to a new place. So if there is a crazy cult I'm know who and what to avoid." she said taking a step towards him. "Hey, if you on a hunting expedition where if your weapon?" she asked tilting her head to the side. "Or do you wrestle your prey." she said just to lighten the mood.

Whatever was in there is long gone and whether it dangerous or not I can handle myself just fine even if I am just a girl.Besides it could have been some kids trying to be cute with vandalism.
He cocked an eyebrow and wondered about her. She acted alot like Cassie did. Same attitude and even the same hair color and eyes. It sent a shiver down his spine. he covered it up with a smart ass remark. Vandalism eh? well, i would hate to run into the ones who think a drawing that is a joke. He chuckled. They will probably have bad luck for ages. Maybe a witch would hunt them down and hex them. he smiled. He wasn't sure if witches exsisted or not, he would believe it if he was told so. Because he wouldn't have believed vampires and werewolves exsisted if he didn't grow up knowing about ways to kill them. He took another glaced down the cave and he got the feeling that something was hiding there just waiting for an innocent girl to go in there out of couriosity and then they would end up dead. He looked back to Kelly, Well, you know what they say, Couriosity killed the cat. he mused. But his fingers couldn't help but brush by the weapons in his belt. And he was more than aware that there was a stake secured around his calf.
"Do you think a guy like you could handle a big scary cave better then me?
He smiled, In all honesty, yes i probably could. he smirked and got up from the pillar. the question is, would you chicken out first? or will i have to come in like a knight in shining armor to save the princess? flirting? yeah it was one of his specialty. In all honesty, he hasn't talked to a girl like that since Cassie, but he knew the reason why he was so open because she resembled alot of Cassie.
What are you hunting out here? Well Jace isn't it a pleasure to meet you, My name is Kelly. So I'm going to be honest here I am curious as hell as to what happened here. He chuckled a bit and looked at her from across the distance. Well, you see i am hunting a special kind of game. This breed is very difficult to come by and kill, but i have managed to good so far. he shurgged, Nice to meet you Kelly. It would be a great idea for you to stay out of there, but if you want to encounter a crazed group of satanics, then be my guest. He grinned, An option you have is to just forget the cave was even there and explore on. Because this town is huge and has tons of history to it. Ruins are everywhere. Right now we are beneath Fell's Church. It was once rumored that back in the founding days the Founders rounded up all the vampires in the area and burned them in that tomb right there. all twenty seven of them. he switched his eyes to hers to see if she had any recognition. But another rumor has surfaced in this town that a witch had put a spell on the tomb to protect the vampires from burning. And so it looks they have escaped. He looked away, So i would be carefully on where you explore, Miss. Kelly.
