Stefan has never in his life met someone as beautiful and as talented as Katherine. He sat in his room looking out the window when he saw her, strands of dark ringlet curls flowing with the breeze, her elegant posture as she walked around the garden beds. He couldn’t help up stare at her and ponder whether or not to go and speak to her, Stefan was shy and unlike his brother was not able to express himself. He sharp pain went through his arm, he jolted up off the seat he was sitting on and snapped his head to see Damon. “Brother, come, we must go and play ball. You know that it get’s cold once it is dark, so why not play when it is sunny.” Stefan grinned as he chased after his brother. He followed him out of his room and down the hall to the staircase, then down the stairs and out the front door. He had to pause for a moment since Damon was much faster then he was, He bend down and put his hands on his knees breathing in, “Come on you girl” Damon laughed as Stefan regained his strength and started to chase after Damon once more. They got to their favorite part in the garden; Damon swished the ball before throwing it quite hard at Stefan, It continued on like this for a few minutes or so before they heard footsteps coming towards them. Stefan thought it could be Katherine as stood still as a rock, he wanted to look tough and as if he was the more mature one out of the two of them. Damon noticed Stefan’s posture change and the way he held himself, so he crept up behind him and stole the ball from underneath him.. “Bet you can’t catch me again” He sneered as he ran off back towards the house. Stefan was about to follow him when he decided not to, even though he was scared to talk to Katherine, and with his brother there with him he would have been able to speak more clearly, he wanted to speak to her with out the distraction of Damon. Stefan breathed in heavily and out slowly and kept doing this until he could just see her head turning around the corner. In the back of his mind he kept thinking whether or not she would mention who she was going with to the ball. there can be only one mikey! of caution 2.0 |
