Deep breaths, everything was going to be fine, she’d do great. Or so she was telling herself that since she arrived here. Today was Rosabella’s first day of her teaching career, anywhere but she was teaching in Mystic Falls. She’d already done her little interview with the principle and now it was time to get started. Rosabella would be teaching English and art, her two favorite subject art more than English. She hoped she wouldn’t make a fool of herself, she hadn’t really built her teaching technicians but she wanted to be one of those cool teachers. She hoped no one would mention her accent, it always embarrassed her but if they did bug her with questions she’d answer then politely but curtly. Her first class was art then she had English later on in the day, she had a feeling that wouldn’t be as easy or as fun as Art.
With another deep breath Rosabella pushed opened the door of her classroom, thankfully no one had arrived no early arrivers looking to impress the new teacher. Rosabella took a look around the room before moving in further. Nice size room that would properly fit twenty kids, three windows facing the front of school, enough easels, pottery station, lots of art supplies and even a case to display the students pieces. Everything she’d need for the class was there, she also had a small desk and the latest desktop, she knew the schools would be out of date so she bought one, with the permission of the principle it’s not like she didn’t have the money. Rosabella was an heiress, million dollar heiress, at least that’s how much her father’s company was. But you wouldn’t be able to tell if you saw her, she doesn’t throw money around unlike other rich people.
Rosabella moved over to one of the cabinets that kept the art supplies and unlocked it. She took enough canvases and placed one on each easel in the room. Then came the art supplies, paints (water color, oil paints and painting pastels), and pencils, brushes of all shape, size and texture. There were oil based color pencils, regular color pencils. There were so much tools and supplies, but these were the things she was going to use today. For today’s lesson she was going to start off simple, something easy for them, then shift into tougher stuff later on. Rosabella just finished putting supplies out on each station when the first student arrived; she glanced at the clock then at the student and smiled. “Ciao (hello), please pick an easel.” She waved her hand at the many set up around the room. “Anyone will be fine.” Rosabella moved over to her desk and leaned against the front, looking the room over to make sure she didn’t forget anything.
